Hi Scotty,
I have a 2013 UK BMW X1 with automatic transmission. Sometimes when the engine has switched off (at lights (start stop)) and starts up again, the car appears to really jerk forward quite violently (like a large clunk). What do you think might be the cause?

Check the engine and transmission mounts.
