2000 F-150 200,000 mi's "good shape but for:" I think I baked motor. Oil pump? I was on the freeway at 80mph. 5.4 how would you handle repair? Are rebuilt motors worth-it? Are their worth it "money verces longevity. Are rebuilts a good way to go? How much do rebuilts cost?

You can get a rebuilt engine from Powertrain Products with a 7 year warranty. Only you can decide if it's worth it or not. How did you fry the engine in the first place, no oil?

These days I doubt you’ll get a good truck for the price of installing a reman engine.
