Recently bought a cheap 2007 mazda5 from a friend, they are moving away and didn't want to take the car with them. I'm not a car person, and I don't really have any information on this car other that it has 200,000 miles on it. Is there anything I should look out for when its reached that mileage and not know any of its maintenance history?

Pretty much you should check everything. Including but not limited to all the fluids, suspension, engine, transmission, rust,...
