Hi Scotty. I habve a 2016 GMC Savana with only 32,000 miles on it. I use it as an RV for fishing and hunting so I keep it light. I’ve has it since it had only 7,000 miles on it and the suspension has always been , fdoir lack of a better word, bouncey. I know these things are made for heavy loads and when i do load her down, she’s fine. What can I do to reduce the bounce? One mechanic said I could remove a leaf or two from the back suspension. I have also heard of air bags that can be added. Mike
1500/2500/3500 ?
buy a good set of shocks like Scotty says.
Air bags won't help they're meant for supporting heavy loads. They'll probably make it bouncier.
Yeah airbags be the best way to go really I would not modify the springs and you can get different types of shock absorbers too that are adjustable off-road ones you can put on that are adjustable
The shock absorbers that come with the vehicle are always the cheapest the manufacturer can find. Replace them with something quality, like KYB. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the improved ride quality. DO NOT buy Monroe!
