Hey
What's the difference between a blowoff valve and a waste gate?
I was arguing with a friend the other day, he said they're same thing, but I disagree, the waste gate limits the boost to protect the turbo , while the BOV is there to reduce turbo-lag (as far as i know)

they're similar but a blow off dvalve is on the intake side to reduce pressure while the waste is on the pressure side of the turbo
