Hey Scotty I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 with around 111,000 miles and my brake pedal is making a rattle sound like both pedals are going to fall off I went to my local mechanic and he said it was a boot for the pedal he fixed and now it’s back I also haven’t done brakes in maybe two years since I own the truck and is it possible that what’s happening with the pedal could affect the steering wheel I already got an Alignment and it was ok but now my truck pulls to the right i just hope it’s safe to drive and that I just need brakes and nothing else thank you and happy fourth of july.
Well, it doesn't sound safe to me. And if the noise went away for a little while, I would assume your mechanic didn't fix it correctly. If new bushings didn't fix it, you might just need a new pedal assembly
