Hi Scotty enjoy your show i have a 05 Jaguar S type 110K on it mint but on the last drive the brakes started smoking , found out that when car is started the brakes and the brake lights go on , seen a test to check starting car , turn off car and pump brakes they come up and go hard , theirs vacuum on the vac line , kind of soft when trying to move it but need to put spring on pedal to hold pedal up to move car , winter time so not driving at the moment but cant figure it out with confidence, any help would be great !
Oh boy. I’d try simple things like checking for any DCTs or checking for break fluid levels…
given that that’s a Jaguar it can be a lot of very expensive issues.
Sound like the brake master cylinder seals are gone or nearly gone.
