Hello Scotty I'm having brake issues with my 2009 Chevy Tahoe my drivers side brakes keep getting stuck. They end up getting so hot that smoke billows from the tire. We have changed the rotor, brake pads and caliper. What else could be causing this? The hose? ABS? I wish I could upload a video to show you but can't on this website. Thanks.
The hose?
yup. And change the fluid regularly. It's only $10 a bottle. Brake lines are an even bigger PITA than the hoses.
its your brake hose replace both sides and it should fix your issue. I have a much older Silverodo and had the exact same issue eventually on both sides they are a little pain to change but they collapse and the fluid can't return...

You may well have a hinky brake hose preventing the caliper from releasing. Test it by loosening the bleeder screw while the caliper is locked with the brake pedal released. If fluid is pushed out under pressure and the caliper releases you'll know you have a bad hose.
