New Country Toyota of Westport committed fraud when they signed off on the PDI for my new car.  The safety system wire harness plug was never installed at the factory, so there was no possible way the PDI could have been passed in good faith since the Blind Sensor Monitor never worked from day 1.  (Also, the interior of driver's door was not fully painted.)  The sales manager continuously lied, and was rude, as was their service manager.

Then I took the car to Toyota Manhattan where they literally took everything apart to locate the missing plug. A Toyota engineer came in to supervise and assist.  When they put the car back together they scratched the paint to the bare metal, damaged the plastic panels as well as the headliner.   I am unsure if BSM currently works correctly since there is no beeping when cars get too close.  The service manager told me there are settings for this, but as per manual there are none.  Said service manager told me to demand a new car, as did several of his techs.  He told me to give Toyota lawyers a week, and they would give me what I want.

3 weeks later Toyota's lawyer rejects request for a new correctly manufactured replacement car.   The lemon law lawyers want me to keep bringing the car back until it is fixed. 

Brought the car back to Toyota Manhattan and they agreed to repaint the damage to the paint they did, and to replace plastic panels.  But I do NOT want a butchered and painted over "brand new car" that came defective from factory, and where selling dealership committed fraud, etc.
