Hi Scotti
Can you explain what a catch can is? I have a 2021 Sorento 2.4L GDI non-turbo. I understand they are no longer needed but were they ever really needed or had an benefit?

The purpose of a catch can is this: preventing oil from causing buildup inside the intake manifold. Think of it as a filter.
