Scotty I have trouble logging on to my other account due to your website not allowing me to reset my password so anyways what do you think about a VW Jetta that is from 23/24 with a manual transmission and the base model.
Don't buy it. VW are rolling piles of junk made in Mexico. See Scotty's video reviews at the bottom of the main page.
@gabriel_del Please stop asking the same question over and over. Scotty gives you the same answer every time. Read the forum rules on the front page. If you break them again you will be banned. Thanks.

A new car with a turbo powered 4 cylinder engine is not going to last as long as the same car with a normally aspirated engine. Scotty has reviewed a few Volkswagen cars and you can find these at the bottom of the main page.
In this one he discusses a Volkswagen turbo powered 4 cylinder diesel engine. He also made these remarks about 4 cylinder engines with turbos. https://youtu.be/t2_WnBuLceE?t=101
Manuals are more reliable than automatic but still it's a VW it will turn to a money pit when they get older.
Hey Scotty what do you think about Volkswagen only offering the Golf GTI and R with a Dual clutch transmission and the regular Jetta with the 8 speed automatic only starting next model year.
VW only manual transmission is on the Jetta GLI.
Well it doesn't affect me cuz I'd never buy a Volkswagen. And those dual clutch transmissions are actually extremely fast. A human can't shift as fast as they can and they do have manual shifting by pushing buttons if you want to drive it that way
Hey scotty I know your not a volkswagon fan but what do you think of jetta gli with a manual transmission for 2025. Any thoughts?
Well they're better than the automatics but I still wouldn't buy one. Volkswagen makes some junk these days
Hey scotty what are your thoughts with a brand new jetta GLI with a manual transmission?
A decent little car as long as you religiously take care of it. The engine is sourced from a previous-gen Golf GTI and is known for it's reliability and tuning potential. Keep an eye on those wheel speed sensors as I think they are still an issue on modern VWs. I highly reccommend getting a OBD11 scan dongle as they are designed for VWs.
Okay I won't ask the same question.
