I have a question I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 automatic Just turned 79,000 miles and every time I stop and press the break going to slow speeds like try to park in the parking lot it feels like the anti-locking brakes are kicking in that happens going forward and reverse now I’m only going maybe to 3 miles an hour most try to park in a parking lot in the parking space and I constantly get that every now and then The brake pads are still 20% worn with 80% life left island rotor zero slows I had my mechanic check it out in the pads do not need to be replaced at all but I mentioned a problem to him and he Has no idea so any ideas what it could be so maybe I can at least bring it to his attention and next time I’m down there he can look at it but unfortunately it does not re-create the issue when he’s test driving it he always seem to do it other times and it doesn’t matter what the weather is it happens no matter if it’s just trying or when Raining out so any ideas I would we appreciate it thank you.
Sorry I meant to say breaking issue AutoCorrect messed it up I I was trying to do voice to text. But Also when On Star has done the remote diagnostic nothing shows up it’s not showing any check engine lights and even my mechanic ran the codes for the vehicle and nothing showing up so we’re all kind of scratching our heads so any kind information information that could be the problem would be greatly appreciated thank you.
Pull the abs fuse and see if it does the same.
I’ll give that a try soon as it acts up I’ll Parkette turn it off and pull it in Abs fuse And see if it still does that but if it does or doesn’t what are my options after that?
