I am finally coming around to selling my 2004 C5 Corvette with 6-speed manual and 44,000 miles. I have narrowed it down to selling it via on-line auction: 2 choices Bring a Trailer or Doug Demuro’s Cars and Bids?
Does anyone have experience or thoughts on which of these two I should sell at? I plan to do more research and see which is best for me but wanted to see if anyone has any insight that might make my decision a little easier.
Thank you.
BTW, if curious my ride is shown under our forum Membership Rides section:

I just sold my Corvette on Bring a Trailer (BaT) for top dollar. That’s the best platform for selling an enthusiast car, and it seems Corvettes (especially my generation) do far better on BaT than on Cars and Bids (C&B). I couldn’t have done better anywhere else.
.
I highly recommend BaT over C&B.
I would go with Cars and Bids. Of all the Corvettes sold on there, people will pay money for that.
I've never used Cars and Bids. But I've had better luck for finding clean older Toyota's (like FJ Cruiser, Land Cruiser etc.) that go for high prices on Bring a Trailer. So you might want to try it or list it on both to see where you can get more for it.
Might want to take a look at this link as it might give you further insight:

After some more thought and research, I will try selling (private sell) on the C5 Corvette Forum first, and see how that goes.
Whoa. That’s my favorite design of Corvette!
Have you heard of either auction site?
I’ve heard of both. I’m more familiar with cars and bids. I just peruse, I haven’t sold or bought anything… yet.
