Scotty, i need some assistance on this. so ive watched many videos of men installing oil pan gaskets for other vehicle models, alot of these men have been using the Black RTV silicone. then, i watch videos for this engine specifically, and i dont see anyone using the sealant for it. (no leaks either) i went ahead and bought some anyway, could you help me understand how or if i need to use this sealant on this type of gasket. (basically a oil pan shaped plastic tray with a small raised rubber gasket molded into place around the edges of the gasket.) i looked on the 3800pro website. and the men there are saying to use it and to specifically use it where the Timing is and on the opposite side where the rear main is. the car is a 99 buick park ave. Thanks

you don't need any sealer if you're using a rubber gasket just make sure it's cleaned perfectly clean on both the pan side and the bottom of the engine side

thank you scotty. i will put it together without the sealant.
