Twice, in as many weeks, my '17 Buick Regal AWD Turbo (garaged), w 26k miles, and auto trans has labored during startup. While my foot's on the brake, it cranks and takes 10 or more seconds to fire up (It always fires up immediately, otherwise). In the past this has happened about once every six months and it's always the first start of the day when it occurs. I can't think of anything that I'm doing differently and it has the original battery. Is this common in these cars, or is this a potential issue? Thank you.

Heck I would just replace the battery that will often cause those problems with that low mileage nothing else should be worn out yet
4 years @ 26k miles, so you're not driving it a lot and you're still have the original battery. The very least have the battery & alt. load tested.
