For Sale! 2014 Buick Encore. This car is the perfect car for those who love social outings with friends and family. It will bring you closer together as you constantly bum rides to and from work while it’s in the shop. If you’re one of those people who love fixing cars up and tinkering with things under the hood, you will have no shortage of items that beg for your attention with this black beauty. Sharpen your business/negotiation skills by reading every word of your warranty contracts and negotiating with the manufacturer to actually pay to fix the items they said would be covered. Earn thousands of reward points from your local autozone. If you’re a spontaneous person looking for adventure, this car will definitely keep you on your toes. Each day brings a new surprise. I’ve only had a year and a half and the entire audio system went out, the ac went out, replacing the condenser, the compressor, the expansion, the coolant system leaks, and the fan relay is bad which has caused me to go through 3 brand new car batteries. And they are still doing tests! Thousands of dollars.. and Buick has tried very hard to get out of warranty not covering things.

Welcome to the world of GM products past 2005. Past 2012 has really gotten bad. Certain vehicles were dependable before 2005. But it’s been steadily going downhill. Ford has been to in everything but their F150,250,350’s. And I won’t even get started on Chrysler. 🤣

Perfect description for that car. Well done!

Scotty and this forum do warn people about buying GM products, but some still don’t listen.

I’ll buy GM products pre 2005 depending on what they are. And just about anything pre 1990 as long as it wasn’t a problem child. Like the old 4-6-8 caddy’s. Chevette’s and associated comparative models not included. 🤣

I was primarily referring to GM products over the last 15 years, with the exception of the 2500 HD and up trucks and commercial line.

I don't even know why people buy Buick vehicles. Their sedans are too damn small and ugly to be luxurious. The Toyota Highlander looks more luxurious than all of their SUVs combined. They are overpriced as well. Reliability is crappy. And I'm surprised Buick is still alive. I rarely see a new one on the road any where nowadays.

Yea, I would have much rather GM killed off Buick than Pontiac. I owned a 78 Trans Am, always been a fan of those and firebirds over Camaro’s. Luckily I got to see a private company have been converting new Camaros into TA’s. And the reliability is 3-4x that of a Camaro when done. They tear it down bare and build it back into a TA.

GM kept Buick mainly because they are seen as desirable, high-end cars in China.
