Burning oil smell inside car

I have a 2015 Subaru Forester 2.5i LTD, cvt. After my car runs for a while I get this burning oil smell coming from the ac. I took it to the dealership. They told me there was an oil leak coming from the engine. They told me they had to fix cam cage seals. It cost me around $2600.

Now it’s been a few months, but the smell still comes after my car runs for a while. What can I do here?

Thank you

Stealerships are notorious for padding the bill with expensive and unnecessary repairs. Take it to a good independent mechanic for evaluation (not a chain shop). It may just be valve cover gaskets dripping on the exhaust.

Most likely you have leak from valve cover gasket which is not expensive to fix.
