Lease, never buy, a German vehicle. They have plenty of technology on board that you would want it under warranty, then return before the warranty expires. You don’t know when something will act up or go wrong, and you want to be covered when that does happen. This is why we always recommend to lease them.
Did I just hear a failing water pump? Again?... Wat,the car only be 25k miles... Oh crap you mean... Only all too common is this type of banter found on new bmw's. For me it started to get really bad around the time the Z4 was announced. I would steer clear as these problems be all to common. Fun cars for sure, but I would lease as to avoid the issues. Scratch that itch for a fun car too, so no worries.
If you wanna buy a BMW, get an older one with an NA straight 6 that doesn't have all that plastic crap and use it for the weekend. I would not buy that car since as they age they get super expensive to repair and maintain. Plus BMW doesn't make the best 4 cylinder engines IMO, they are much better known for their inline 6 engines.
