Reduced Engine Power for 3 or so years

So I have a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer LS with 200,773 miles. It’s an automatic & ive had the code P2138 come up for about 2/3 years and I can’t seem to find what the issue is. I’ve changed the throttle body, changed the accelerator pedal, changed spark plugs, changed the fan clutch & ive still had no luck with it going off, I’ve taken it to my mechanic as well & he said he fixed a wiring issue but still couldn’t figure out why the light wouldn’t go off. I’d have to leave the truck with him for some time so he can properly diagnose the issue but I don’t have a second car or the time at the moment. Any help with getting this light off and keeping it off would be great. It comes and goes but it’s been coming on for a few years and I’m tired of barely getting anywhere when it happens. Please help!

See below:  you will need scan tool and multimeter to diagnose it yourself (at the very least confirm 100% those items you listed were not the culprits;  a new part is not the same as a known good part.  Also, faulty sensors should usually be replaced with OEM.)

find a mechanic who specializes in electrical issues. They'll fix the problem in half the time, and half the cost of a general mechanic.

I had the same problem with o4 tahoe and turned out it was a little switch behind the gas pedal up under the dash in there .i changed out that switch and it never came on again....u should go unplug it and plug it back in and see if it goes off.good luck man I understand toatslly..I'm dealing with my truck now
