Scotty, do you recommend a used Honda Civic or a used Toyota Prius as my next car? I’m an Uber driver full time. Thanks
Avoid used Hybrids unless they are very very low mileage.
I agree with Yaser. When the battery goes, it's thousands to buy a new one.
All of my research points to completely avoiding a hybrid vehicle.
The gains in MPG do not translate into savings over the life of a hybrid due to repairs.
(not to mention the increased complexity of hybrid repairs)
Along with the others, be cautious, one that is pretty new, and low mileage helps.
You can't much beat a corolla for longevity, even better than Civic. Although I did really well with the prius I had, and sold it at 180k miles with nearly no out of the ordinary repairs, looking back I would have likely done better just getting a Corolla.
