Hey,
Is it worth buying a 2012 maxima automatic for USD 4200 with 120,000 miles on the clock? It is owned by a friend and he never had many issues with it. But, with the age and miles on it I’m a little hesitant.

Nick is right. Those cars become...*ahem*...."endless money pits" as they get old and get miles on them. They can look great but the quality is not there.

My first car was 90 Maxima. Solid cars before Renault messed up Nissans!
Agreed. Back then they were well made and also fun to drive! Shame what they have become because they do have a nice design.

Stay away from Nissans. They went down in quality after Renault took over.
