Hello, I have 2001 Cadillac Deville DTS with 126K Miles. The AC Compressor just went out. I live in the South so it HOT here. Do I try and have the AC fixed or trade it on a new or almost new car / suv. I have not had much luck on fixing AC systems. just turns into a money put for me.
But if I trade it. What brand should I look at?

I would get rid of it. As far as the brand, go with Toyota or Honda, or if you want a luxury brand, choose Lexus or Acura.

I’d look at Toyota, Honda, and Mazda if you want a reliable car used or new. If you want a luxury vehicle since your old one is a Cadillac, I’d recommend a Lexus.
