Scotty. I have 5,000 dollars. I am looking to buy a toyota camry or a honda. Which engine are best to buy on a camry 4 or v6. Also what years should I avoid buying. The same goes with the Hondas
What are the ready options, in your area?

Why not a nice Honda Civic for that price? Great MPG and very dependable, plus they are fun cars to drive. I'd look at that or a Corolla S, depending on your needs.

Avoid any model with cylinder de-activation, otherwise either is fine
