Hey Scotty I am looking to buy and purchase a 2002 Ford F-150 regular long bed two-door v6 with a automatic transmission the owner said that I've been sitting for a while but he tells me that whenever he drives it its rides a little bit rough what do you think could be the issue
without knowing more details, it could be almost anything. Best to let a mechanic look at it for you.
Anything from flat spots on the tires to shot leaf springs to major suspension problems.
Have a mechanic check it out and tell you exactly what it is. Any vehicle that has been sitting is bound to have issues. It is the worst thing you can do to a car.
If you mean the ride is rough, and if the truck has very old tyres, that could just be it.
However, as Joe said, it could be a number of things & you’re best to have it checked out by a professional mechanic, before you buy it.
