  1. I am looking at a 2012 dodge avenger for a first car. It has 67k miles and i could probably get it for 4500$. i did a very thorough test drive in it and it feels really nice and seems to be in good condition. would it be a good first car?

On the Avenger see below, but I would avoid that vehicle, not a good first car. For first car I recommend a Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic.

Dodge Avengers were not high quality vehicles and they fall apart with age. I would definitely look at getting something more reliable.

Honeslty I'd take my $5000 and put it into a Toyota/Honda.

There are a lot of good ones out there and a lot to avoid some good ones include Toyota Corolla/Camry and Honda Fit/Civic.

Check out the Used Car Buying Guide linked below for more information, including the model years to avoid and cars to stay away from.

Unless you enjoy taking the bus & using Uber, type in ‘first car’ into the search box of this website.
