I have an 05 impala and the brake light popped on. It’s a c1248 code. Can you explain the cause?

The EBCM module is going out. Remove and ship it to Module Master, Moscow, ID for repair. It is located behind the left front wheel wheel cover. When bad, the ABS system stops working.
