Hey Scotty, I hope you can get to this within the next couple of days.
So, I bought a 2020 Nissan Rogue around this time last year at BENTON NISSAN of BESSEMER, AL. When I bought it, it had a little over 32000 miles on it. It costed roughly 22000 dollars after I signed the paperwork. It really wasn't the car I wanted, I originally went to purchase the 2018 Toyota RAV4 that they had because I wanted something reliable. But because of my credit situation at the time, they would only approve the Rogue. I decided to give it a chance, since I really needed a safer car for my grandkids. Fast forward to about a week ago. At 59900 miles, my car started to misfire like crazy, and would shut off when in reverse. I took it to my normal repair place to have it checked out. They got the codes,"P0300" "P0075", "P0078" Which translates to "Random misfire", "Intake valve timing control B1" and "Exhaust Valve timing Control B1". They told me the problem should be covered under warranty. I called Benton Nissan and explained my situation to them, and they told me to have it towed to JACK INGRAM NISSAN in Montgomery, AL, to see if it was covered under warranty. And of course, when Jack Ingram Nissan checked it, and despite the standard warranty that my car was still under, they ironically found the one thing that was not covered under warranty and told me it was the wiring harness that needed to be replaced. On a 1 year old car. And that I would have to pay around 2400 dollars out of pocket to get the car repaired. I believe they are full of crap. I sent a message on the Benton Nissan of Montgomery website and told them the whole story and that they had 48 hours to respond or I was gonna have my famous Youtube Car mechanic, with about 5 million subs, call them out for how they treated us. I did have a call back, but missed the call, when I called back, no answer, and no call back. When I called several times the following day, even leaving my name and number, The general manager who called me did not call me back. So here we are. I was skeptical about a Nissan vehicle before i bought it, but I didn't have a choice, and now I'm stuck paying 21000 dollars for a car I didn't even get to drive a full year. To make matters worse, before this happened, I went back and bought my 18 year old stepdaughter a 2020 Nissan Versa. If I could take it back I would. Needless to say, I'm pretty upset about the whole situation, and if you happen to make a Youtube video out of this complaint, I am going to send both parties, and Nissan themselves the link. Thanks in advance.
Fixed. In future, please refrain from using very large fonts & all caps & bold text formatting. It results in a very unappealing reading experience.
Typical Nissan horse sorry I'll say that well I'll see what I can do about it
Please try posting again. This time without the caps lock key, and bold 100point font. Thanks.
