Hello all,
I am replacing a battery in my 2011 Cadillac SRX 3.0. I am not going with the OEM version. Does gap size and anything else other matter when purchasing a battery that is not the OEM and can I replace the OEM with a ACDelco Gold 94RAGM?

As long as the battery physically fits, is the same type (Flooded vs. AGM), and meets the CCA specification for your vehicle it should be no problem. (The only issue would be the battery hold-down might not fit properly if the battery has different dimensions than the original.)
