Camry burning oil

Hey Scotty! I’ve got a 2007 Camry with the 2.4 2azfe motor. It’s burning about a quart of oil every 100-200 miles. I was thinking of using the ats engine oil cleaner to stop it from burning so much oil. Is this a good idea? Or are their better options?

The primary reason those engines burn oil is defective piston rings installed at the factory. You might try the ATS Carbon Clean product in case carbon buildup is making the problem worse than it would be otherwise. However don't expect miracles especially with such a high level of oil consumption. You could also try changing the PCV valve. The only way to really fix the problem though is to rebuild the engine.

ATS is probably your best option for attempting to reduce it's oil consumption at this point. Used properly as a cleaner/service ATS could help. It won't harm the car and has been known to free stuck rings, tensioners. I say go for it.
