Thoughts on the reliability of the Camry V6 specifically from 2015-2017 compared to the 4 cylinder. I am leaning towards considering the V6 as a future purchase rather the 4 cylinder. The reason I am asking is in the Accord the V6 would burn the transmission out in older models but not sure about the Camry. As far as I see the engine is pretty good and they are still reliable. I want a family car that isn't a slouch but isn't anything fancy like a Lexus or Acura or anything. This generation seems to appeal. Appreciate your help!

do you live in hilly terrain and need the power? Do you like driving fast? get a V6. They're also smoother.
Do you live on flat land, and care more about fuel economy? get the 4 banger.
