Scotty, my wife broke off the front Toyota emblem on the front bumper exposing the radar unit. The unit looks fine and has no damage but I am getting a warning to "clean the sensor". If it was not damaged why isn't it working? thanks Jeff B 2018 Camry.

Because it's damaged.
Ok if I replace the sensor does the computer need to be programmed to see the new sensor.

These are the kinds of things you need to have happened before to know.
I'd try replacing the emblem first.
My experience with a radar on a different car (a Kia) showed that "clean radar" does NOT indicate a radar failure!
I'm unsure if this carries onto a Toyota.
