I drive 2014 camry with auto trany and 2012 civic manual. Bought them used. I want change to a new brand of engine oil for both of my cars, but still have some leftover of previous brand. Can I mix them? Say 3 quarts of new brand with 1 quart of previous brand. Both brand have same level of viscosity. Thanks

Yes, been doing that for decades with no problems.

Yes, although at some point, and Scotty has mentioned this before, it’s best to stick with one brand moving forward and not change back and forth.

I'll be the odd one out and say I wouldn't.

That being said, you probably could but personally I like to keep everything 100% of the same brand when it comes to fluids.
