How do you choose the right antifreeze for your car, or can you use any type?

You can google whatever car you have an antifreeze and it should tell you or look in the owners manual but you should be sure whatever you get is meant for that car or it could cause damage.. what’s the year make and model

Stay with the factory type antifreeze. If it's an old multiple-owner used car and you're not sure what's in there, flush it out and put in the factory coolant.
