Can you "unstick" a shift solenoid in a 2008 Camry?

My daughters 2008 Camry LE has about 202K miles and recently had shutter in the transmission at about 45mph. I looked it over and saw that the transmission fluid was low and it had a P0766 code. I've changed the transmission fluid and filter and it shifts smooth, but I still get the P0766 code which states that the Shift D Solenoid of stuck open. Will it eventually unstick with new fluid and running it or should I get rid of it, as I'm not looking to replace that transmission.

You don't need to replace the transmission for a bad solenoid, just replace the solenoid.

@chucktobias Agreed, you can buy used, and tested ones fairly cheap too. I am about to replace them in my 05 Matrix, and you can get all 5 for about $100.

with over 200k on it, and if the fluid was never changed before now, then very likely it's worn out and starting to go
