I have a 2018 corolla with a fuel line connection that was chewed by a squirrel or mouse. The fuel lines are nylon. I bought a connector of the same size but it will not go into the nylone tube, even with a fuel line flaring tool. To save time i decided to buy the toyota oem line with the connector preinstalled to replace the whole section. The part is molded a specific shape to fit around the fuel tank. Is there a way to mold nylon fuel lines at home to save money if this happens again?

You really have to buy the whole piece. You can't fix those stupid nylon lines. They make some kits. I've tried them but they all came apart over time. It's just crap that they don't make them out of steel anymore but that's cheapness for you
