I know from watching you that Audi can be a money pit if one keeps it too long.  If I am planning on getting rid of it well before it hits 120,000 miles when time to replace turbo, does it make sense to buy one: 2007 A4 convertible quatro, manual trans. with only 55,000 miles on it?  Looks almost new.  Very clean. 7 grand.  Offered by private party.  Maintenance records w Audi dealership timely.

thanks, bud.  You are appreciated by this system bucking rebel unafraid of the truth.  We such are rather rare yet.

Renewed health to you.  Maybe consider claiming it.  Right now.

Age takes its toll as well as mileage. At 15 years old a 2007 Audi will likely have plenty of expensive problems just around the corner. I'd avoid it unless you have deep pockets and are willing to empty them for frequent repairs.

Have you had it inspected by a professional mechanic, to check what condition the vehicle is actually in?

If it checks out, and you accept the maintenance risks of buying an old Audi, it might be a fun weekend toy.

Forget about it if you plan to use it as your daily driver and put on 10,000 miles a year..

239 problems per 100 cars 😆

How much of a gambling man are you?  Are you going to do all the work yourself and know where to source parts?  Otherwise, save your sanity and $$$ and pass on it.  Any issues with the convertible top can be very expensive to fix if you have to pay someone, and there are known issues with those too.
