it also has 02 sensor heater circuit malfunction codes and a p0403 and a p0442 code. What do you think I need to replace?
Replace your EVAP system purge solenoid and replace your EGR valve.
Okay will that fix the issue where I smell gas too?
Probably not. The 02 sensor heater codes means the heating element in the sensor is not working. Test you electrical connections first for corrosion then test the resistance through the coil to see if there is continuity. If none, replace it.
Go to this web site and check each code you're showing -
Also check all wiring connections and any fuses that may control the EGR and EVAP systems.
Repairing the EVAP system should eliminate the gas smell.
Ok thanks. Will it fix the o2 heater circuit codes too?
Okay but is it bad since all 4 of the sensors have a code
What do you mean all 4 sensors have a code? What codes are showing on a scan? So far the codes are showing a problem with the EVAP system and the EGR valve system. Could be the EGR valve itself or the vacuum switch to control it. What codes are you referring to regarding the 02 sensors?
it has the following 02 codes..
P0155
P0135
P0161
P0141
It also has
P0403, P0442
I replaced the EGR valve and it runs better and does not idle rough anymore but the p0443 code still came back
