Hi Scotty. I owned a 2009 Kia Spectra EX 4 speed automatic with 172000. When I accelerate the car pass 70mph, the engine rattles and feels like if i was driving through a dirt road and the battery/brake/seatbelt light comes on. Any reason why the engine rattles and turns on 3 lights unrelated to engine? About the warning lights, when they come on they flicker and once i slow down the lights go off.
Does it rattle when you put it in park and rev to the same RPM as 70+? Any codes or other electrical intermittents?
Well I'd have to hear the rattling realize those kids aren't very well built cars is the age and I have had nothing but history of engine problems so I would assume it's for engine problem but it could also be a transmission problem. Define the exact source of the sound do my video finding the source of car noises Scotty
