Car Buying Consierge Services

Hey Scotty,

I'm going to need to replace my car in about 3 years and would prefer not to deal with a car dealer to buy a used car. I've looked on Craigslist to get some idea of cars I might be interested might cost but the cars are so far flung that I couldn't possibly be going all those places to look at cars. Is the money you would pay for a car buying consierge service be worth it? Do they actually check out the condition of a car or just negotiate a price? Even if I could drive hundreds of miles to check out various cars I'm not exactly in the position to do the checks a mechanic might if I could find a car locally and certainly wouldn't know of trustworthy mechanics in the places where these cars would be available. I would certainly watch a video about this subject if you would make one.

I would never trust a "car concierge"
