Car dies and hard to restart

Scotty,

I have a 1984 Corvette I recently purchased with 33,000 miles. On two different days I have had it die multiple times at a light and be hard to restart the rest of the days it runs like a top. I have good oil pressure on the gauge, temps are good, voltage is good. I plan on replacing the fuel pump as the sending unit is off by a quarter of a tank, ASK me how I know. From my research the fuel relay is only used to start the car however the oil switch can shut the car down on low pressure. Can it show low pressure to the ecm and good pressure to the dash? I believe it has three leads coming from the switch.

If the oil pressure switch is defective, replace it.  Rock Auto has the OEM #14073454 for about $32.
