Hey Scotty huge fan! I have a 2019 Toyota RAV4 LE with 54,000 miles my wife travels 100 miles round trip 5 times a week that’s why it has high mileage. It dies whenever she is stopped or idling never died once when it’s moving but it’s also sporadic so it happens at random times. Any ideas of what it might be? Thanks in advance!
Did you have any recent maintenance performed on the vehicle? Did it start doing it after a particular event? Or just out of the blue? Any codes?
Hello Thrust, well the oil was changed about 5000 miles other than that nothing. Just out of the blue and no codes. The engine check light will come on but only when the engine is running really rough and it’s about to die. When it dies we’ll let it set for about 15-20 mins and it’ll start driving like nothing happened.
