my friends 2006 accord with over 270,000 miles doesn’t start turn the key cranks for one second then it makes a trrrrr DRRRR noise :), what could be gone wrong ? i tried jump starting that didn’t help

Sounds like a starter drive gone bad if I'm properly interpreting your post, starter spinning but engine not turning over. Replace the starter if that's the case.
