I bought a 2nd set of rims and tires for snow and plan on changing out myself instead of paying twice a year to have a tire shop to swap tires on rims. Tire shop said the truck wont run right if i do that. Alluded to tire pressure monitoring system not aligned with different sensors on 2nd set of rims. Are they telling the truth or just not wanting to lose the business? Thanks for any help, love the videos.

If your concern is about the TPMS, you should reprogram the new ones and you need special tool for that, so the tire shop is correct about this one.
Regarding changing wheels, as far as they are balanced, there should not be any issue to install them yourself.
