Hi, my passenger side door is stuck closed, in the locked position for a few months now. All the other doors function normally.
The lock switch on the door will move a small amount and then stop like it is jammed without moving the bar inside the door.
The main problem I am having is, I can’t get the door open to fix it and I can’t get the inside panel off without destroying it unless I get the door open first.
The car is a 1998 Toyota Caldina GT-T right hand drive 150,000kms
unfortunately when those break many times you do have to cut a small hole in the inner door panel to access it but you might try a locksmith sometimes they are pretty good at breaking into cars with their tools sliding them behind the window then you wouldn't have to cut anything
