- Scotty, I have a 2013 Nissan Altima 2.5 S with about 170k. I’ve been having an issue with it flickering, the lights on the dash and radio console. Usually at startup, or when I’m turning. I’ve replaced an alternator and put a new battery in the car and it still does it. Battery clamps were cleaned, but then I replaced them with new clamps. What else could it be? Seems to be a short of some sort, everything looks to be in good condition. (No rips or cracks in battery cables) no exposed wires near metal. Also when turning steering wheel when idling the headlights will dim.

Check your grounds. Also, new parts can be bad all too frequently so load test your battery and alternator.
