Hi Scotty. I drive a 1995 Ford Thunderbird LX (V8 model) with an automatic transmission and 177xxx miles. When I go to shift out of park, I have to push the button in first before hitting the brake or it won't come out of park. When going back into park, I have to out it down in 1 and even then it rarely goes back into park. I don't know what the issue is. Do you have an idea?

We're out realize there's a Daytona little rod on a motor that you have to have your foot on the brake to make it going right pray that you just need a new brake switch they're easy to replace and it's not the piece that locks it into park because that's a real pain in the ass to replace
