Is it normal for car to vibrate at idle when starting the engine after leaving it unused for several hours? The vibration is not excessive. You can just feel it when holding the steering wheel and at your feet. I had just washed the car yesterday and this happened
You mean to say its vibrating more than usual compared to previously, before the wash? Did you wash the engine bay?

I did not wash the engine bay. Just a regular car wash. Honda civic 2011
Have you checked your engine & transmission mounts?
Does the vibration manifest itself only at idle during a cold start? Or does it always vibrate at idle even when the engine is warmed up?

Any codes? Like @yaser mentioned, you’ll need to look at the data to see what’s causing it. Or find an honest mechanic to diagnose it, for you.
It should not shake that much. You may have lean condition. Check the live data.
