Hi Scotty! Do you have any ideas on what would be some good car insurance companies to look into? I have recently been in an accident that I was at fault for and I plan on getting a newer car soon and I don’t want to pay a ton of money on insurance. Thanks for your help!

It all depends on where you are as different areas have different companies. Your best bet is to talk to an insurance broker.

we have had good service with Travelers through an independent agent, also have Auto-owners, they are low cost but have never made a claim with Auto-owners, you dont really find out how good they are until a claim hits the table

AllState, State Farm and USAA all tried to poke me over the years

The Allstate agent would quote me a price, we would agree, but halfway through the term they would send another bill and say rates went up

State Farm tried to deny a claim once because both drivers had the same agent, not sure how he thought that would fly, lawyer straightened them out quickly, but if you have to hire a lawyer, probably not the best insurance co.

USAA kept raising rates until I had had enough.  Was with them 23 years.

Good luck !
