Car is leaking a green fluid (but uses pink coolant)

Hi,

I have a 2002 Chev Cavalier. I noticed that it was leaking something that is bright green/yellow. It looks exactly like coolant except in my coolant reservoir it looks like my car has pink coolant. My temps seem to be holding fine.

What could the bright green/yellow leak be? Googling for an answer just comes back with "coolant".

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I think it's refrigerant from your A/C system.

Thanks!

Where is it leaking from? Please post a photo.

I will try to post a photo, in the meantime it looks like the leak is from the back area of my engine, closer to under my dash rather than the very front of my car.

Hi there. Do you have an update?

Hi there, do you have an update on this one? Mine recently did the same thing, it’s a Volkswagen Golf 2009, 170,000km, Manual.
The workshop I took it to told me it was leaking from the head gasket and used a head gasket sealant to patch it up.
They showed me the leak, it was fluro green. Oil is clean, coolant is clean and pink.
