Hi I have 2017 Nissan Altima and it keeps overheating we’ve went to 2 different mechanics and still haven’t got it fixed. We’ve changed the thermostat about 7 time and the water pump was just changed also. He also said he changed something that was blocking air from coming into the engine. Every time he scan the car for a reading it says nothing is wrong with it. Check engine light is on also
What was replaced aside from multiple thermostats and a water pump and what conditions does the car overheat? Only on the highway? Around town? Surprisingly it makes a difference. Also is the level in the tank dropping? One not super common thing I have seen is clogged/restricted radiators but that will most commonly cause an overheat during highway driving
What tells you it's overheating? Is the radiator overflowing?
Is there a blockage in the radiator? I wouldn't expect that in a car that age but it should be checked. Did the mechanics check that the cooling fans are working? Also the head gasket should be checked, particularly if it's already overheated multiple times.
